A motivated and patient-focused Clinical Pharmacist looking to develop your career within one of the UK's leading independent healthcare providers. At The London Clinic, we are seeking a talented Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to join our highly regarded Pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to build your clinical expertise across a diverse range of surgical and medical specialties. Working alongside experienced pharmacists, consultants, nurses and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in optimising medicines use, enhancing patient outcomes and delivering exceptional standards of care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver a comprehensive, patient-centred clinical pharmacy service across a variety of specialist wards.
  • Perform medicines optimisation, reconciliation and discharge planning to support safe and effective patient care.
  • Provide expert medicines advice and evidence-based information to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Support continuity of care through liaison with healthcare providers following patient discharge.
  • Participate in service improvement initiatives, audits and medicines management projects.
  • Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines throughout the organisation.
  • Provide dispensary support, including prescription screening and final checking.
  • Participate in the pharmacy on-call service, as well as evening, weekend and bank holiday rotas.
  • Support the education and development of pharmacy colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • Undertake and successfully complete the Pharmacy Clinical Diploma.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Post-registration experience within a UK hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Experience across a range of hospital pharmacy rotations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive and patient-focused approach to care.

Desirable

  • Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Independent Prescriber qualification.
  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and/or UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA).
  • Previous hospital pre-registration experience.
