Clinical Lead for Adult Eating Disorders

b Overview /b p In this Clinical Lead role, you will steer the eating disorders service within NELFT’s London community framework, using your extensive ED expertise to shape clinical pathways and supervise practice. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality, evidence-based care for adults with eating disorders and their families. Your leadership will drive service development, stakeholder engagement, and staff growth in a dynamic, values-driven environment. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London /li li focus on staff development and wellbeing /li li equality and diversity initiatives /li li staff health and wellbeing activities /li li investment in development and training /li li progress toward an Outstanding CQC rating /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide clinical leadership and quality control to ensure adherence to an evidence-based model in eating disorders and ongoing therapist development /li li Set, implement and evaluate clear objectives with the Assistant Director, Team Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist and pathway leads /li li Manage own workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, working across multiple sites as needed /li li Lead and oversee initiatives to advance care and service provision in collaboration with senior NELFT EDS colleagues /li li Identify staff development needs and coordinate training and personal development planning /li li Coordinate service developments and changes, considering operational implications and minimizing disruption /li li Promote integrated health professional working and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as primary care, North London Adult Provider Collaborative, ICB, and other agencies /li li Contribute to maintaining clinical standards and the delivery of a comprehensive adult ED service /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Post-graduate qualified psychologist fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body /li li Extensive experience in eating disorders, including supervision experience /li li Awareness of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation, including Mental Health Act /li li Ability to understand and apply national guidance related to children’s services (where relevant) /li li Experience in a specialist eating disorder service (adults or children/young people) /li li Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to work independently and within a team /li li Experience with service development, change management or project coordination (desirable) /li /ul ul li leadership /li li strong communication /li li flexibility and adaptability /li li expert knowledge of evidence-based treatments for adults with eating disorders /li li clinical supervision and risk assessment /li li clinical governance and quality improvement /li /ul
