Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face, telephone, video, and online consultations
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions per guidelines
  • Prescribe and regularly review medications
  • Refer to secondary and community care when appropriate
  • Perform routine health checks and disease prevention activities
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinical correspondence
  • Collaborate with nursing, paramedics, AHPs, and admin teams
  • Participate in clinical meetings, CPD, and practice development
  • Support practice targets (e.g., QOF) and cover colleagues during leave
  • Undertake other duties consistent with a Salaried GP role

Key requirements

  • Qualified GP or due to qualify soon after start date
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of conditions
  • Experience with vulnerable or complex patients
  • Experience in multidisciplinary team work
  • Experience of safe prescribing and medicines management
  • Current UK professional registration
