The role will be overseeing the children's ward and children's elective care. Training and development opportunities will be offered and bespoke to individual needs.Reporting to the Matron and/or Associate Director of Nursing for Children's and Neonatal Services, the post holder is responsible for and will have a specific focus on visible, accessible and strong clinical leadership, patient experience and the delivery of safe, timely, high quality care.The post holder will support service and quality improvement programmes alongside supporting the operational management of the Division. This includes ensuring efficient and effective use of resources and the development and maintenance of the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.The post holder should have extensive experience of children's nursing and development, able to work clinically with expertise and credibility.
