Job summaryJoin our Safeguarding and Vulnerable Patient Team and help us ensure that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, with the person at the heart of every decision.Main duties of the jobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Safeguarding Adult Practitioner to join the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Patient Team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.
The postholder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Trust's adult safeguarding agenda, providing visible, accessible and responsive specialist safeguarding advice and support to clinical teams across the organisation. The practitioner will work collaboratively with colleagues within the safeguarding team and with wider health, social care and multi-agency partners to support safe, person-centred safeguarding practice.
The role includes providing advice and consultation on adult safeguarding concerns, Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and supporting clinical teams to recognise, assess, escalate and appropriately manage safeguarding concerns.
