Job summaryWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our Domestic Services team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Main duties of the jobProvide efficient and effective cleaning services across hospital areas. Maintain hygiene standards in line with Trust policies, including Infection Control and COSHH. Replenish supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet rolls. Safely dispose of waste in accordance with the Waste Policy. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, buffing machines, and steamers. Support deep cleaning programmes and curtain changes. Ensure patient areas are clean, tidy, and clutter-free. Respond promptly to spillages, including bodily fluids.
