Overview
You will contribute to reshaping community mental health through integrated neighbourhood teams. In this role you will apply evidence-based psychological practice within a multidisciplinary setting to support service users across the adult age range. You will help shape high-quality, accessible therapy pathways and embed psychosocial interventions within broader service delivery. Responsibilities
- Deliver integrated, person-centred mental health care within neighbourhood teams
- Provide evidence-based psychological practice within a multidisciplinary group
- Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated clinical pathways across primary, secondary, and crisis services
- Foster partnerships with statutory, VCSE providers and people with lived experience
- Embed psychosocial interventions in wider service delivery and ensure high-quality, accessible therapies
Key requirements
- HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Completion of clinical supervision course or plan to complete within 6 months
- Experience across lifespan with diverse mental health issues and cognitive profiles
- Proficiency in multiple psychological models (systemic, behavioural, individual)
- Post-registration/clinical experience relevant to this care group
- Experience in service development/project work and supervising assistants/trainee psychologists
- Valid driving licence with unrestricted car use for community-based work
- Collaborative working in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
- Adaptability and openness to transformation projects
- Evidence-based psychological interventions
- Experience with systemic, behavioural and individual therapies
- Clinical governance and pathway development
