b Overview /b p In this role you will lead the CAMHS inpatient and acute care pathway across Greater Manchester, providing strategic and operational leadership to a large multidisciplinary team. You will drive service transformation, improve equity of access, and reduce avoidable admissions, while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care close to home. You’ll work with senior NHS leaders and partner networks to shape services for children and young people with complex needs. This is a high-visibility role that combines clinical quality with system leadership in a mission-driven setting. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead and develop the CAMHS inpatient service and broader acute care pathway /li li Drive service improvement, innovation, and transformation aligned with priorities /li li Provide inclusive leadership across nursing, therapeutic, medical and admin teams /li li Ensure quality, governance, safeguarding, patient experience and regulatory compliance /li li Oversee workforce planning, staff development, performance, budgets and resource use /li li Manage patient flow, bed management and system-wide capacity planning /li li Build partnerships with young people, families, commissioners, local authorities and other providers /li li Represent Pennine Care as lead provider and contribute to regional strategic decisions /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Registration as RMN or equivalent with current licence /li li Experience of mental health inpatient ward management (Band 7) /li li Leading multidisciplinary teams, chairing meetings and case management /li li Project management and business planning /li li Clinical and management supervision experience /li li Experience in CAMHS inpatient unit or work with young adults /li li Ability to work across organisational boundaries and balance operational pressures with strategic vision /li /ul ul li Relationship-building with stakeholders /li li Ability to lead, motivate and empower others /li li Commitment to developing services for young adults /li li Clinical governance and safeguarding /li li Service design and transformation /li li Workforce planning and budgeting /li /ul
