Overview
In this role you will lead and support a small Care Services team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will ensure our processes are followed, residents’ dignity and safety are prioritized, and observations are accurately recorded. You will handle concerns promptly and provide ongoing support to residents, families, and staff. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to Avery’s caring culture and mission, with a focus on night-shift supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage, support and guide a small Care Services team to follow Avery processes to high standards
- Promote and deliver high quality person-centred care to residents
- Closely monitor and report on residents’ daily progress with timely recording of observations/interventions
- Address concerns or complaints from residents or relatives in a polite, prompt manner
- Provide ongoing support for residents, their families, and the Care Services Team
Key requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Recognised Medication administration qualification and experience
- Previous experience in a Senior Care role
- Demonstrable ability to organise, lead, inspire and influence a team
