Your main area of responsibility will be to provide support and advice, including treatment planning/case discussions on complex paediatric patients with/for colleagues working within the service.As part of the NHS England Special Care Dental Care pathway, you will be a team player, supporting the head of the service with guideline updates in relation to Special Care dentistry, acting as safeguarding lead, and providing staff training as required by the Clinical Director.Experience of working alongside a Dental Therapist treating patients in a special care dental service setting and using sedation is essential. You will have excellent, experienced nursing support.We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being IT competent.
