Overview
In this Salaried GP role with The Avenue Surgery, you will deliver high-quality primary medical services within a growing NHS-linked primary care network.
You will work as part of an integrated team to manage on-the-day and scheduled patient care, while upholding clinical guidelines and population health principles.

Responsibilities
- Conduct GP consultations and emergencies, triage calls, and home visits
- Manage repeat prescriptions (including EPS) and medical reports
- Develop care plans aligned with disease management protocols
- Promote health improvement and signpost to services
- Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure information governance
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and care pathways
- Engage in CPD, appraisal, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards
- Key requirements
- Registered GP on General Practitioner Register
- MRCGP or 5 years' GP experience with quality practice
- Current performers list (or eligible)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to meet QOF standards
- Strong documentation and record-keeping
- Proficiency with computer systems and NHS workflows
- Ability to work flexibly and manage time under pressure
