Overview
You will join Priory Hospital Kemple View as a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist, delivering comprehensive assessments and person-centred therapies. In this role, you work with clients, families and carers to design and review therapy plans that promote mental, emotional and social wellbeing within a rehabilitation setting. You will run individual and group sessions, adapting approaches to changing client needs and ensuring meaningful outcomes. This position offers the chance to contribute to high-quality psychological care in a multidisciplinary team with a clear focus on recovery and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs
- Develop and implement person-centred therapy programmes
- Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions and activities
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with clients, families and carers for meaningful outcomes
- Regularly review and adjust therapy plans and interventions
Key requirements
- HCPC Practitioner Psychologist registration (mandatory)
- Chartered status with BPS preferred
- Minimum Masters degree with postgraduate qualification and professional accreditation (BABCP, BCP, BPS or equivalent)
- Clinical competence and practical experience in the chosen therapy field
- Current UK professional registration
