Responsibilities
- Deliver effective medical care to the registered population across all ages
- Assess and plan care, referencing guidelines and services as needed
- Prescribe safely and in line with local/national guidance
- Manage long-term conditions and urgent/emergency situations
- Promote health education and self-care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and manage administration
- Share workload and collaborate with the team
- Support continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and governance
- Attend practice meetings and participate in safeguarding and appraisal processes
- Provide home visits when required and supervise/mentor more junior staff
Key requirements
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Inclusion on NHS England GP Performers List
- MRCGP or equivalent qualification
- Evidence of ongoing CPD
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Experience of working in a GP practice and primary care
- UK professional registration currently in good standing
