In this role you work as a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist within the North & West Adult Mental Health Team, delivering expert psychological care for adults with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological assessments using diverse data sources and structured methods
- Plan and implement formal psychological treatment and management of client problems
- Deliver a range of psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups
- Evaluate treatment options considering theoretical and developmental factors
- Contribute to triage of referrals from the AMHT and determine appropriate care level
- Key requirements
- Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, HCPC registration
- Two or more distinct psychological therapies; lifespan developmental psychology
- Knowledge of research methodology and multivariate data analysis
- Excellent communication skills, ability to teach/train others, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment across care settings; supervisory experience
