Job summaryWe are seeking a 6 session GP to start following expansion of our clinical workforce. Friendly and supportive practice looking after just under 28,000 patients led by strong 8 GP Partners, 7 Salaried GPs, 11 nurses/HCAs as well as additional ARRS colleagues. We have a fantastic One Team who support housebound & care home patients in the community, and we have a strong relationship in our PCN.The Practice is located in central Basingstoke, opposite the train station and on a direct route for local bus routes. With Crown Heights being a short distance from the M3, both London and surrounding cities are easily accessible.We use Klinik as part of our total triage as well as digitally outsourcing some of the administrative work to help reduce GP workload.Main duties of the job15-minute appointmentsHigh QOF/IIF achieversBMA safe working sessionsHome visits taken by One Team & Paramedic significantly reduces urgent visit demand.Extended hours access provided by in house.7 weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata (inc. BHs)GP will be list holding (250 patients per session)Stable workforce of 8 partners and 7 salaried GPs, 1 paramedic & ANP, MSK physios, clinical pharmacists, mental health team, a team of practice nurses and healthcare assistants, plus supportive reception and administrative staff members.In-house education programme and mentorship, including programme of clinical, significant event and CQC meetings throughout the year.We are a training practice with ST 2/3 registrars and medical studentsWorking on obtaining Research practice status.Current list size of 27,791 patients.All rooms equipped with dual screens.We use EMIS web, Docman and ICEMember practice of the Mosaic PCNCQC Rated Good (July 2024)Daily coffee and tea breaks where all are welcomed.About usWe look after nearly 28,000 patients in and around central Basingstoke The Practice is located in central Basingstoke near to Festival Place shopping centre and opposite the train station and on a direct route for local bus routes.
