Overview
In this salaried GP role, you contribute to a well-established practice serving a diverse patient population. You join a collaborative team that values continuous improvement and high-quality care, with opportunities to progress toward partnership. You will manage a broad range of primary care problems in pre-booked slots, plus one on-call day weekly and shared non-clinical duties. The practice supports training and development within an innovative, neighbourhood-focused network.

Responsibilities
- Work as an integrated member of the practice team and handle a wide range of primary care problems in pre-booked appointments
- Provide one day per week on-call during surgery hours
- Share non-clinical duties (admin and lab reports) equally with the team
- Be part of a supportive, enthusiastic healthcare team and engage in the Barnsley Primary Care Network neighbourhood working
- Utilize electronic Lloyds George records and provide paperless referrals
- Participate in training, career development opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Informal enquiries and visits are welcome
Key requirements
- GMC registration with licence to practise
- Included on the NHS England Medical Performers List
- MRCGP (or equivalent) and CCT (or due to obtain before appointment)
- UK Registration
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS)
- Experience or openness to partnership/leadership is desirable
