Overview

In this role you support consultant-led surgeries across a range of specialties, helping ensure patient safety and well-being through tailored perioperative care. You work within a multidisciplinary theatre team to assess patients, plan care pathways, and manage perioperative risks. The position offers exposure to diverse procedures in a leading private hospital and a pathway toward ongoing training and development. You contribute to delivering high-quality, personalised patient care in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in theatre for consultant-led surgeries across varying complexity and specialisms (e.g., orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae, ENT)
  • Assess patient health and wellbeing across a complex, changing caseload
  • Develop patient-specific care plans considering the care pathway and perioperative risks

Key requirements

  • Qualified ODP/Nurse
  • Orthopaedic experience
  • NMC or HCPC registration without restrictions
  • Experience in a surgical/theatre setting
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a challenging but rewarding environment
