Overview
In this rotational clinical pharmacist role you will develop knowledge across primary and secondary care with mentorship from advanced and consultant pharmacists. You will deliver high-quality medicines optimisation within multidisciplinary teams and pursue prescribing development and RPS credentialing. The role offers teaching and research opportunities through links with Bangor University and support for advanced practice funding. You will contribute to safe medicine use and patient-centred care while gaining broad clinical exposure across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities
- Rotate through clinical areas (medicine, surgery, mental health, aseptic services, community hospitals, community resource teams)
- Deliver pharmaceutical care and medicines optimisation in multidisciplinary teams
- Support education and training of students and staff; participate in supervision
- Develop prescribing role and pursue advanced credentialing; engage with university links
- Contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality patient care
- Potential on-call/out-of-hours duties as required
- Utilise electronic prescribing system (Better Meds) in daily practice
Key requirements
- MPharm degree
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council
- Post graduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience/qualifications
- Broad post registration experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
- Ability to implement change
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with electronic prescribing systems (Better Meds)
- Clinical pharmacy skills across multiple specialties
