b Overview /b p In this role you will provide highly specialised clinical pharmacy services to HIV, Sexual Reproductive Health and Infectious Diseases teams. You will work closely with cross‑functional colleagues to promote high quality drug use, patient safety and governance, while supporting drug budgeting and clinical audit activities. You will develop policies and guidelines to ensure safe, effective and cost-efficient medicines use, bridging primary and secondary care. You will also contribute to education and training within the pharmacy department and specialty teams. This role offers opportunities to influence practice at a large NHS trust and across multiple disciplines. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li flexible hours /li li generous benefits /li li next level training opportunities /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services to HIV, SRH and ID teams /li li Promote patient safety, risk management and clinical governance /li li Advise on drug expenditure and budget management /li li Undertake clinical audits to improve service quality /li li Develop policies/guidelines for medicines use across hospital and interface with primary care /li li Support education and training within the pharmacy department and specialty teams /li li Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and service managers /li li Lead service improvements and monitor performance indicators /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li MRPharmS or equivalent /li li GPhC registration /li li Mandatory CPD /li li Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent (or working towards it) /li li Advanced qualification in specialist area or equivalent /li li Good Clinical Practice /li li Desirable: independent non-medical prescribing (or working towards) /li li Desirable: management qualification or equivalent /li li Ability to work unsupervised and manage staff /li li Experience in hospital pharmacy, HIV/ID, SRH /li li Project management and staff training experience /li li Experience with formulary and drug use review issues /li li Strong communication and leadership skills /li /ul ul li Effective communication across disciplines /li li Ability to lead and motivate senior staff and MDT /li li Conflict resolution /li li Drugs expenditure analysis /li li Drugs usage reviews /li li Policy and guideline development /li /ul
