Overview
In this role you will provide multi-site operational leadership for Dermatology, Plastic Surgery & Burns, supporting the General Manager and CDU Leads. You will drive service improvement, performance and quality initiatives while line-managing administrative teams. You’ll partner with cross-site colleagues to deliver strategic objectives and ensure high-quality patient care and timely services. This is a collaborative, impact-driven position that shapes day-to-day operations and service plans across the specialty.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operational management for designated areas across multiple sites
- Line-manage administrative staff and support teams
- Support service development, performance management, and project delivery
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient experience
- Collaborate with General Manager, CDU Leads, and Matron to meet strategic objectives
- Monitor and deliver key quality, performance, and financial targets
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans across specialties
- Ensure services are responsive and meet clinical, quality, and performance standards
Key requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent
- Recognised leadership and/or management qualification or equivalent
- Contributing to improvements in service standards and patient experience
- Knowledge of elective admissions and theatre scheduling
- Experience managing a large cross-site team (admin and support)
- Knowledge of validation processes
- Analytical skills to interpret complex information and identify issues
- Proven ability to write management reports on performance and service issues
- Understanding of good Human Resources practice
- Motivation and ability to align with Trust values and service standards
- Willingness to travel between sites
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to motivate staff
