In this role you will lead the Division of Surgery, Women's and Children's, driving service quality, strategic transformation, and performance across people, quality, operations, and finance. Pay / Benefits
- Provide visible leadership and strategic direction for the directorate
- Drive quality improvements and redesign services to meet best practice
- Collaborate with clinical leads, matron leads, and other directorate managers
- Ensure delivery of directorate objectives and performance targets across People, Quality, Operational Performance and Finance
- Develop and execute the directorate strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and transformation
- Lead programmes of transformation and change initiatives
- Monitor service delivery to ensure high quality, safety and efficiency for patients
Tasks
- Degree level education or equivalent lived experience
- Operational management experience in an acute/healthcare setting
- Budgetary management with delivery of cost improvement schemes
- Experience with multidisciplinary teams and achieving service improvement outcomes
- Understanding of national access targets and capacity and demand management
- Experience in managing complex change at a senior level
- Experience with consultant job planning and data analysis
- Strong collaboration, influence, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to lead change through diverse teams and deliver results in pressurised environments
