Overview
In this role you will provide senior nursing leadership to Priory Hospital Arnold, supporting the Ward Manager in daily operations. You will lead and supervise a nursing team, ensuring safe staffing and high standards of care, while managing risk and working with the MDT. You act as a shift lead and deputise for the Ward Manager as needed, contributing to the delivery of compassionate, person-centred mental health care. This is a chance to shape clinical practice in an inpatient setting within a leading provider of mental health and social care.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior nursing leadership and support the Ward Manager in day-to-day ward operations
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, supporting their development, clinical supervision and performance
- Act as shift leader to ensure safe staffing, effective risk management and high standards of patient care
- Support the MDT, oversee therapeutic care and deputise for the Ward Manager when required
Key requirements
- Active NMC registration
- 18 months to 2 years post-registration experience
- Experience in a relevant clinical speciality
