b Overview /b p In this role you lead the Pharmacy Clinical Trials service at Glan Clwyd Hospital, shaping a new specialist function within a growing research portfolio. You will enable safe access to innovative therapies for patients across North Wales, collaborating with oncology/haematology teams and cross-functional partners. You drive service development, governance, and workforce planning to deliver high-quality clinical research outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to influence practice and advance patient care in a expanding research environment. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead the pharmacy clinical trials service and oversee IMP management across a diverse portfolio /li li Perform protocol reviews, study set-up, and ensure GMP/GCP compliance /li li Provide specialist pharmaceutical advice to clinicians, sponsors, and research teams /li li Support audit, governance, service improvement, and workforce development activities /li li Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enable safe delivery of clinical trials /li li Contribute to the development of new ways of working within the research environment /li li Support weekend/public holiday rota responsibilities as part of the wider pharmacy service /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li MPharm degree or equivalent /li li Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent /li li GPhC registration /li li Non-medical prescribing qualification (or working towards) /li li Experience in managed sector and/or community pharmacy /li li Leadership and management experience (desirable) /li /ul ul li Excellent verbal and written communication /li li Decision-making and problem-solving abilities /li li Ability to influence and negotiate in a multidisciplinary setting /li li Clinical trials management and IMP oversight /li li Protocol development and study setup /li li Regulatory compliance and GCP /li /ul
