Overview
In this Administration Lead role, you will direct the Administration, Reception, and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming patient experience. You will work with clinical peers to align clinic rotas with service needs and drive efficient scheduling and administrative processes. The role combines hands-on leadership with people development, aiming to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will help shape a patient-centred diagnostic service and contribute to continuous operational improvements.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Administration, Reception and Housekeeping teams
- Manage staffing levels, annual leave, sickness absence and rota planning
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Oversee patient bookings, scheduling and administrative processes
- Support recruitment, performance management and staff appraisals
- Coordinate clinic rota alignment with service requirements with clinical teams
- Manage team communication and escalate issues as needed
- Support operational improvements and uphold high service standards
- Ensure patient confidentiality and data protection compliance
- Provide practical support across the service as required
Key requirements
- Experience in a senior administrative role leading or supervising a team
- Strong customer service experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills and experience with data inputting and administrative systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
