Job Purpose

We’re looking for a Team Administrator to support the smooth running and daily challenges of the Asset Management and Engineering teams. This is a role for someone who likes helping others. You’ll be keeping your colleagues organised, saving them time and stress, and providing all the support a successful team needs to thrive. You’ll have the satisfaction of seeing your work come together and providing colleagues with what they need to get their jobs done. What Youll Do

  • Streamline the daily activities of the Engineering Director and Asset Management Director, optimising their time to enhance leadership effectiveness.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for their inbox and diary, assessing the value of meetings, re-prioritising urgent tasks, and determining what to decline.
  • Manage expenses, purchase requests, and recruitment administration efficiently.
  • Prepare the Engineering Director and Asset Management Director for meetings by organising logistics and minimising surprises.
  • Serve as the lynchpin of the team, keeping everyone informed about ongoing activities and necessary actions.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards, acting with discretion in sharing or disclosing information.
  • Utilise PowerPoint for various tasks, including collating slides for team meetings and coordinating presentations.
  • Use Excel to create purchase orders and organise meetings, including calculating attendee numbers.
  • Coordinate calendars and manage the inbox of your line manager using Outlook.
  • Enhance the presence of the Engineering Director and Asset Management Director both in and outside the office, prioritising team development and one-to-one meetings.
  • Keep the team moving forward by coordinating logistics for off-site events and ensuring thorough preparation for meetings.
  • Take comprehensive notes and track actions to ensure accountability.
  • Proactively offer support to teammates in various capacities, including event coordination, ad-hoc project work, or IT issues.
  • Act as a trusted confidante to colleagues, fostering a supportive team environment.

What Youll Get

A competitive salary between £30,000 - £35,000 – dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
