We are currently recruiting for a Sourcing Specialist on a 6 month secondment to support our UK and US recruitment team and are a big part of our global recruitment team. The Recruitment Sourcing Specialist works closely with our Recruitment Partners and uses innovative sourcing strategies and methodologies to identify and source candidates, finding and engaging with the best diverse talent in the market, delivering outstanding candidate experience and building a strong talent pipeline for National Grid's current and future talent needs. The role is a hybrid role with our base office in Warwick, you can enjoy working from home and office.
What you’ll do
- Develop & execute a sourcing plan of action to meet immediate client hiring requirements.
- Create innovative sourcing strategies making use of forums, online networks, and internet interrogation.
- Identify passive candidates using online tools/networks/technologies.
- Create talent communities via LinkedIn and engage them with regular and relevant communications.
- Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at a time.
- Maintain data quality and accuracy within the company’s internal database.
- Conduct ongoing candidate pipeline development activities and talent network expansion for active and future requisitions.
- Market mapping, business intelligence.
- Remain curious about emerging sourcing technologies and methods to help us on our journey to best in class.
Candidate Assessment & Selection
- Complete telephone screening calls with candidates to assess their suitability for roles.
- Provide diverse candidate shortlists within agreed timeframes.
- Engage with the candidate community to understand and map their career goals and motivations.
- Build great relationships with candidates, communicating with them throughout the process.
What you’ll need
Essential
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a sourcing specialist or as a 360 recruiter.
- Experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter to headhunt including expertise in Talent Insights and Boolean searching.
- Proven track record of Sourcing for a variety of positions and levels.
- A high degree of customer focus and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Curious and creative approaches to engaging talent.
Desirable
- Strong drive for results and a commitment to producing a high level of work efficiently and often within tight time frames.
- Excellent verbal and creative written communication skills.
- Strong presence and experience amplifying employer brand and jobs on social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter).
- Ability to adapt to new processes and effectively deal with change and ambiguity.
- Excellent candidate management skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
- Previous experience of using AI within Sourcing.
What you’ll get
A competitive salary between £40,706.00 - £44,297.50 per annum - dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
