Overview
As Platform Tooling Analyst, you will administer platform and SaaS tooling to ensure reliable access, proper licensing, and user enablement across Electric Transmission. You will manage day-to-day tooling requests, provide frontline support, maintain tooling data, and participate in renewal and supplier activities. You’ll guide users and product teams on tooling processes, governance, and licence constraints, while improving user experience and operational controls. This role sits in a hybrid team and offers a stake in shaping governance and adoption of enterprise tooling at scale.

Responsibilities
- Administer a defined portfolio of platform and SaaS tools, ensuring access, roles, permissions and licences align with standards
- Triage and resolve user requests (access changes, licence queries, basic config updates) and escalate complex issues
- Maintain records of users, licences, roles, and tooling usage to support audits, renewals, and reporting
- Provide guidance to users, product teams and platform owners on tooling processes and service standards
- Support licence renewals and commercial activities by analysing usage and engaging with suppliers or commercial teams
- Apply governance, access, security and data handling controls to tooling
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and adopting standard tooling practices
Key requirements
- Experience supporting licence, subscription or renewal activity including data gathering and renewal inputs
- Experience in tooling administration, service operations, IT, data, digital platforms or SaaS support in an enterprise environment
- Experience with SaaS administration, licence management, service desk processes or governance activities
- Strong experience administering business/platform/SaaS tools (user access, roles, permissions, configuration data)
- Ability to work independently within defined processes and escalate risks appropriately
- Clear communication to guide users, product teams and suppliers and translate needs into tooling actions
- Customer-focused with experience handling user requests and service communications
- Good working knowledge of licence management, renewal cycles, supplier engagement and usage-driven decisions
- Data literate for monitoring usage, trends, reporting and renewal decisions
- Experience applying governance, access, security and data handling principles in enterprise tooling
- Ability to identify process gaps and support adoption of standard tooling practices
