What You Will Do:
  • Partner with Field Operations leadership, Finance Business Partners, and Investment Accountants to drive performance and insight across operations and the capital programme.
  • Deliver accurate, consistent monthly performance reporting and provide clear, data driven insight to support decision making.
  • Lead the development of future finance and performance reporting, contributing to a next generation reporting environment.
  • Apply strong financial rigour to investment decisions, business cases, and project evaluations, including regulatory (RIIO) impacts.
  • Support strategic and transformation projects through financial analysis, risk assessment, and opportunity tracking.
  • Embed a strong financial performance culture by improving processes, capability, and finance understanding across Field Operations.
  • Translate complex financial and operational information into clear, impactful insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement, simplifying complexity into actionable outcomes.
What You Will Have:
  • Qualified or near Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with strong knowledge of accounting concepts.
  • Proven track record of Finance Business Partnering, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Extensive experience overseeing the financial position of a business unit, working with director level to set strategy and deliver against a medium-term plan.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of general ledger and supporting systems, purchase ledger, sales ledger and time recording systems.
  • Experience of dashboard reporting and Hyperion Planning applications.
  • Full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel.
  • Proven ability to adapt style of financial information presentation to suit a range of stakeholders, both financial and non-financial.
  • Strong planning, forecasting and budgeting experience.

What You Will Get:
  • Up to £57,000- dependent on capability.
  • As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
  • You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
