Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Connections Securities Manager is responsible for overseeing NESO’s securities process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing risk exposure, and optimising investment strategies to support financial objectives. You will be responsible for understanding the change landscape associated with Connections Reform and managing the impacted changes through collaboration across the programme, with industry partners, and the CFO. This role will require working closely with FF&S workstreams to develop a holistic view of changes and how the implementation of that will impact NESO. You will be responsible for overseeing the Connections Securities process and impact on Fees across key internal and external stakeholders. This role can be based from Wokingham, Warwick or Glasgow, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and manage the organisation’s securities process and associated system changes
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Support application window, audits and provide accurate data for financial statements
- Liaise with TO’s, Customers and Ofgem and maintain relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance and Legal) to align securities management with organisational goals
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices in securities management

What you’ll get
A competitive salary between £65,000 - £70,000pa – dependent on experience and capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance, 28 days annual leave as standard, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
