The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

The Plant centres construct and deliver our mass use plant assets. The team services the requirements of all Field Operations installs across replacement, network faults, customer connections and network reinforcement. Opportunities are available for Operators based at the Huthwaite Plant Centre. As an Operator, you will be involved primarily in the assembly of package substations and associated equipment. You will also refurbish, scrap and decommission plant. You will ideally have some experience in an electrical field.

To apply, you will need to hold English & Maths GCSE (1-9/G-A*) or equivalent qualification deemed to be at the same level in these subjects, such as Functional Skills. Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.

Main Responsibilities

You will be involved in the movement, loading and unloading of equipment. You will assist in the preparation and marshalling of finished assemblies. The position will be depot based. The working environment requires an orderly and methodical individual. Normally working alone, the quality and reliability of the work done is imperative.

Ideal Candidate

Some experience of assembly work and forklift experience is desirable. However, full training will be provided.
