The Technical Training Reporting Analyst has responsibility for all aspects of the UK Technical Training (across NGET and NGED) metric creation (both routine and non-routine performance reporting). The focus of this position is to produce metrics that enable the UK Technical Training Team to report on business performance against annual learning plans whilst providing opportunities for identifying economies of scale, utilisation of resources etc. A sound understanding of the training environment is required to underpin the role and ensure that the management information requirements are translated into deliverables that meet the business needs.
The individual will be expected to demonstrate thought leadership, identifying trends that will drive performance within the department and across the business. The person will be the primary contact for UK Technical Training metric creation. The role is hybrid so you can enjoy working on site at the training centre in Eakring at least two days a week as well as working from home.
What you’ll do
- Interface with UK Technical Training Management Team to ensure up to date awareness of initiatives that will impact upon metric reporting.
- Produce the routine and adhoc performance metrics for the team monthly management reporting metrics ensuring that reports are produced to time with all relevant checks undertaken prior to publication, enabling the management team to make the operational decisions for the overall effectiveness and success of the department.
- Develop strong working relationships with all involved in the Learning & Development process (GTT Management, GTT Teams, MSP, Suppliers etc).
- Provide advice and guidance to the wider UK Technical Training Team on day-to-day management information issues.
- Proactively ensure continuous improvement and streamlining of work requirements.
- Provide information and assistance to wider National Grid business submissions involving Learning & Development.
- Actively demonstrate and promote the National Grid values.

A competitive salary between £48,000 - £60,000 per annum– dependent on capability.
