We’re seeking an Associate EPC Project Manager to join our Northeast team, where you’ll support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects that enable the UK’s journey to net zero.

Based in the Northeast of England (North of Leeds), you’ll be involved in major transmission and grid reinforcement programmes, including the connection of wind and solar generation and the upgrades needed to meet our Clean Power 2030 ambitions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to nationally significant projects, engage with OFGEM on regulatory approvals, and help deliver real benefits for communities and society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end investment process across FEED, pre-construction, delivery, and project closure, ensuring robust governance throughout.
  • Monitor contractor site activities to ensure compliance with National Grid SHE standards, Health & Safety requirements, environmental legislation, and CDM regulations.
  • Undertake site inspections, surveys, and condition assessments.
  • Act as the Client’s Delegated Representative and Principal Designer where required under CDM Regulations.
  • Produce regular project updates, including programme progress, financial forecasting, and risk management reporting.
  • Support the NEC Project Manager in the delivery of contracts.
