As a Construction Environmental Advisor on Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2), you will play a vital role in delivering a landmark infrastructure project that will transform how electricity moves across the country. EGL2 is a 505 km HVDC subsea electricity superhighway connecting Peterhead in Aberdeenshire to Drax in North Yorkshire – the largest transmission project of its kind in the UK. You will be the trusted environmental expert within the project team, ensuring delivery is responsible, compliant, and forward‑thinking at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Champion best practice across major construction programmes

Qualifications
- Experience in environmental management within major infrastructure or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of environmental best practice in project delivery
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive behavioural change
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Passion for sustainable, responsible infrastructure delivery
- Degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or related discipline
- Professional membership (e.g. ISEP/IEMA) desirable
- Full UK driving licence

Competitive salary between £54,000 - £65,000, dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a job requirement company car, a bonus based on personal performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
