Position Overview

We are recruiting a Grade 4 Network Planner at our Birmingham depot. Planners design our network, working with Engineers to construct, reinforce, alter, and replace equipment. The role is fast-paced, requiring excellent service delivery and impact minimization.

Qualifications

English and Maths GCSE at Grade C/Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 or higher. Evidence of qualifications required.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working model: a mix of office and home working after initial training, subject to business needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver new services, alterations, and small projects.
  • Conduct onsite meetings and work with third parties for asset agreements.
  • Review and close projects financially.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Schedule works and liaise with authorities.

Ideal Candidate

Strong communication skills, resilience, organization, and prioritization abilities. Must be mobile, with a full UK driving license. Experience with iPads and computers is essential. Training will be provided to meet the required standards, including a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and TAR completion.

Additional Details

Initial lower salary possible until training is completed. A valid UK driving license is mandatory.
