Frequent visits to the cable route and converter station site are also expected. Team members are currently permitted to work up to 6 days a fortnight from home but this is likely to reduce as the project develops. Please note you must have a full UK driving licence and be able to drive for this role.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure that all HV cable systems are safe to operate and maintain.
  • Ensure that all HV cable systems are reliable.
  • Embed safety by design principles into suppliers’ and contractors’ design solutions.

  • Ability to foster collaboration and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple work packages and interfaces effectively.

What you’ll get

A competitive salary between £78,000 - £94,000 per annum– dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
