About The Role

This is the time for action – we need to move at pace and reform our energy system – to deliver energy security, to tackle climate change and to protect our people. The resourcing lead role will coordinate the end‑to‑end process of resourcing into the integrator, including the creation of purchase orders, coordination with the commercial team, organisational effectiveness, finance and people teams. This individual will be a self‑starting, proactive professional who holds the leadership team to account, delivers value through commercial thinking, and connects processes across the integrator. The role will have the opportunity to help bring our Great Grid Partnership charter to life across the partnership, by supporting managers within the integrator and running the end‑to‑end secondment process, in conjunction with the commercial team. This role is based in Birmingham. We offer flexible hybrid working where possible, and involve regular travel to office locations, project delivery sites and substations, primarily within the region surrounding your contractual base location. Occasional nationwide travel may also be required, depending on project demands. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to GGP integrator leaders on various matters related to the end‑to‑end process of resourcing into the integrator.
  • Support the recruitment process for secondments by creating GGP‑specific recruitment content, coordinating the process, and ensuring the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) understands their responsibilities and requirements.
  • Administer the integrator resourcing process, including:
    • Managing all integrator‑related contracts (secondment and framework).
    • Raising and managing purchase orders and processing goods receipt invoices.
    • Ordering IT equipment and providing system access.
    • Handling contract extensions and off‑boarding.
    • Maintaining a single consolidated tracker.
    • Supporting forecasting and reporting activities.
    • Supporting quarterly resource planning reviews with the GGP Senior leadership team.
    • Supporting the development and improvement of processes, governance and control of the integrator organisation design, e.g., SOPs, and guidance.

What You’ll Get

A competitive salary between £40,000 and £44,000, dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance, and a contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
