b Overview /b p In this role you lead National Grid Electricity Transmission’s new Asset Health Condition Monitoring capability, shaping how asset data informs investment, risk, and regulatory decisions. You’ll unite data, processes and engineering to improve information quality used for asset health assessments and decision-making. You’ll work cross-functionally to enhance data systems, governance, and reporting, enabling trusted insights across a critical infrastructure network. This hybrid, senior leadership position offers a chance to impact energy transition outcomes at scale. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li salary 70,000 – 90,000 /li li bonus up to 30% /li li pension scheme with 12% company match /li li share incentive plan /li li salary sacrifice car and technology schemes /li li employee assistance lines and matched charity giving /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead a specialist team focused on asset health, condition monitoring and asset insights. /li li Define and deliver the long-term condition monitoring and asset health strategy. /li li Establish standards, governance, and processes for asset health data collection and management. /li li Improve quality, availability and integrity of asset health information used in decisions. /li li Act as the intelligent customer for asset data requirements with Digital and Data teams. /li li Ensure asset health data underpins investment planning, risk assessment and regulatory submissions. /li li Oversee development and governance of the asset health index and performance measures. /li li Evaluate opportunities for new condition monitoring technologies and data sources. /li li Collaborate with Asset Strategy, Risk Modelling, Engineering and Operations to inform decision-making. /li li Drive continuous improvement across asset information, governance and monitoring processes. /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant leadership experience in asset-intensive industries (utilities, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing or related). /li li Experience managing asset information, asset health, asset performance, condition monitoring or asset data programmes. /li li Strong understanding of how asset data supports risk management, investment planning and operations decisions. /li li Proven track record of driving change and transformation in data and systems. /li li Experience improving data governance, processes or business procedures. /li li Ability to translate business requirements into practical data and system solutions. /li li Experience working with digital, data, engineering and operations teams. /li li Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. /li li Experience leading and developing technical or multidisciplinary teams. /li li Degree in a STEM, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. /li /ul ul li Stakeholder management /li li Influencing and communication /li li Change leadership /li li Maximo (Enterprise Asset Management) /li li Asset health indexing /li li Asset risk methodologies (NARM) /li /ul
