Job Purpose
EGL1 is a two‑gigawatt high voltage direct current (HVDC) connection forming a critical part of the UK’s future energy infrastructure. This multi‑billion‑pound project is being delivered through a joint venture between SP Energy Networks and National Grid Electricity Transmission.
What You'll Do
- Support construction planning activities, including preparing schedules, updating plans, and gathering project data.
- Assist in maintaining end‑to‑end planning processes to ensure safe, on‑time project delivery.
- Contribute to early‑stage programme development, supporting timeline creation and updates.
- Help ensure programme data aligns with monthly reporting cycles and is accurate and up to date.
- Support progress tracking, critical path analysis, and identification of early risk indicators.
- Collaborate with internal teams, joint venture partners, and contractors to maintain aligned project schedules.
- Assist in planning workshops to promote cross‑team collaboration and programme alignment.

- Experience using Primavera P6.
