National Grid is looking for a Manager – Treasury Financial Reporting to ensure accurate financial and management accounting for our UK and US Treasury activities. The role involves collaborating with Treasury functions across debt capital markets, short‑term funding, risk management, corporate finance, and cash management, capturing data for accounting in Treasury tools (Quantum, Bloomberg HEFF) and integrating it into reporting ledgers (SAP, BPC). The position resides in the London office (Strand) and offers a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate reporting and data integration across the Treasury function, support deal executions, and enhance technical accounting skills within a £45 bn financing portfolio.

What You’ll Need

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) and working towards AMCT or qualified.
  • Knowledgeable in technical accounting under IFRS and UK GAAP, particularly financial instruments (IFRS 9 and IFRS 7).
  • Strong understanding of treasury financial instruments and hedge accounting.
  • Strong analytical thinker with excellent financial reporting skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and committed to delivering professional results.
  • Effective communicator with outstanding teamwork abilities.
  • Experienced with Treasury management systems (Quantum, Bloomberg HEFF) and SAP/SAP4Hana or BPC.

Benefits

A competitive salary of up to £85,0000 – dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on‑target being 20% (with a maximum of 40%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary‑sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving.
