Job Introduction
An opportunity is available for Records Assistants within the Wayleaves Team based at Castle Donington. Reporting into the Wayleaves Records Team Leader, the post-holder will be responsible for providing essential clerical support to the Property Team and National Grid’s Electricity Distribution (NGED) business.
As a business, we need permission to install and subsequently access all our electrical equipment when it is sited on, over or under private land. Commonly, this is done through the negotiation of a contractual arrangement with the landowner and/or the occupier of the land and is called a wayleave. The Wayleaves Records Team are responsible for negotiating and recording these land rights.
