About The Role

What you’ll be doing:
- Commercial Support: Partner with Project Managers to manage and administer all contractual relationships.
- Contract Management: Oversee multiple contracts within a defined portfolio, ensuring compliance and value.
- Financial Management: Track spend, forecast costs, and ensure alignment with contract terms and governance.
- Risk Management: Drive the risk management process and maintain the Risk Register alongside the PM.
- Tender Evaluation: Support tender evaluation and negotiation, providing expert advice throughout.
- Dispute Resolution: Lead efforts to resolve disputes, offering professional guidance and solutions.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor other Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors, sharing your knowledge and experience.
About You
You’re a confident communicator, a natural problem-solver, and a trusted advisor. You bring a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills, and you’re passionate about delivering quality outcomes.
Key Requirements & Experience
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (BSc).
- Experience in construction, ideally within utilities or large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC 3 & NEC4 contracts.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of managing contracts and mentoring others.
Desirable
- Experience managing and mentoring Junior Quantity Surveyors.
- Main Works Contractor experience.
- Chartered Member of RICS (MRICS).
