About the role
Shape the performance of our supply chain. Drive real impact across major infrastructure programmes. As a Contract Performance Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our contractor partners perform at their best, helping us deliver safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You’ll lead the strategic oversight and management of contractor performance across multiple contracts, ensuring robust performance frameworks, meaningful insights, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly influence supplier relationships, delivery outcomes, and long‑term value creation, making a real difference to how we operate and deliver.
What you'll be doing
- Leading contractor performance management across major programmes, ensuring consistency, transparency and effectiveness.
- Overseeing the collection, analysis and assurance of KPI data to drive informed decision‑making.
- Managing and coordinating contract performance reporting, ensuring high‑quality outputs and insights.
- Leading performance reviews with contractor partners, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Driving corrective actions and continuous improvement plans to enhance delivery performance.
- Collaborating closely with Procurement and internal stakeholders to align with supply chain strategies.
- Providing clear, structured performance insights to senior stakeholders to support governance and decision‑making.
- Developing and embedding long‑term strategies to strengthen contractor capability and overall supply chain effectiveness.

Key requirements & experience
- Experience in contract or supplier performance management.
- Strong understanding of KPI frameworks, performance assurance and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Proven ability to analyse performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical improvements.
- Experience leading performance reviews and managing performance conversations with stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross‑functionally.
- Experience managing or coordinating teams to deliver high‑quality outputs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to shape long‑term performance strategies.
- Full UK driving.
- Experience within large‑scale infrastructure or major capital programmes.
- Familiarity with supply chain strategy development and optimisation.
