Electrical Technician – St Fergus – £41,265 to £48,547 (£50k-£60k OTE)
About The Role

We are looking for an Electrical Technician, you will take on the installation, inspection, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of various rotating equipment, as well as other operational duties at the Terminal.
Working as part of our Operations Team, you will support construction as required and the commissioning of new assets on the system. You will oversee and inspect work carried out by others, including support of capital projects.
This role will help protect and maintain the high-pressure systems at one of our National Gas terminals. These sites are the engines that take the gas from offshore and introduce it into our National Transmission System straight to our customers.
What we are looking for
We recognise we are a niche company, therefore don\’t worry if you do not meet 100% of the requirements because we know that there is a wealth of transferable skills out there such as experience with PLC\’s, RTU\’s, detection equipment, pressure gauges and rotating machinery.
You will have previously completed an apprenticeship (or other recognised training scheme) and hold a BTEC National Certificate (or equivalent City & Guilds NVQ/SVQ Level 3) in an Electrical transferable discipline.
You will have worked or be working in industries such as; FMCG, the broader Utilities, Military or Aviation.
We work in hazardous areas, so knowledge of health and safety is key. It would be desirable for you to have an in date CompEx (1-4) certificate, if not, it is something we could consider putting you through.

- On Track Earnings (OTE) of between £50,000 to £60,000
