As an Investment Management Graduate, you’ll join our Planning and Performance team. The team sits at the centre of the region’s investment decision-making, working day-to-day with Delivery teams, Engineers, Asset Strategy, Finance, Regulation and Portfolio Management. You’ll get hands-on exposure to how investment decisions are shaped, challenged and approved - from early planning through to delivery and performance tracking.
You’ll be involved in:
- Building investment cases
- Analysing portfolios
- Supporting forecasts and reports
- Working with a wide range of stakeholders to help turn complex network needs into clear, deliverable plans
This team covers a breadth of work, including:
- Portfolio Planning: Organising and managing the work, projects, and investments the business needs to deliver.
- Investment: Evaluating, shaping, justifying, and managing our portfolio of capital projects.
- Performance: Analysing results, identifying trends, and providing interpretation.
During this 18-month programme, after your initial induction, you’ll complete three 6-month placements covering various teams within the Planning and Performance team and the option of a broadening placement.
