The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 ÂŁ per year.

Our office base is Crawley, West Sussex and you will be required to attend the office for meetings and workshops and will also travel and work in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Support foster carers in their care of children.
  • Direct work with children and young people.
  • Organise events for foster carers and children on a regular basis.
  • Respond flexibly and quickly to support foster carers with the challenges faced by children and young people.
  • Support children and young people participating in the Duke of Edinburgh programme.
  • Work closely and cooperatively with colleagues, maintain professional communication with children, young people and foster carers.
  • Continuously extend your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious and creative.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Professional approach to working with children, young people and foster carers.
  • Openness to learning and genuine desire to fulfil the responsibilities of the support worker role.
  • IT literate.
  • Full driving licence and own transport.
