Job Title: Workforce Planner


Location: Hybrid working from Bolton Head Office


Contract Type: 6 month fixed term contract


Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience

In Northern Ireland, we work with Local Health and Social Care Trusts to provide the highest quality of care for children and young people. We also offer a 4 day working week - this means 80% of the hours for 100% pay! This will be given following a successful 6 month probationary period and is a performance based benefit.


About the Role


The Workforce Planner will be responsible for delivering robust processes that balance day-to-day operational needs with longer-term strategic objectives. The role will provide accurate analysis, forecasting and modelling to ensure the Group has the right staffing capacity and skills in place to meet service demands.


By improving workforce visibility and utilisation, the Workforce Planner will help reduce reliance on overtime, agency staff and independent workers, support financial sustainability and enable the organisation to plan effectively for growth where needed.

Who we are looking for


We are seeking an experienced workforce planning professional with strong skills in capacity management, demand forecasting and data-driven decision-making. You will be confident analysing workforce data, modelling staffing needs and presenting clear insights to senior leaders.


With proven experience managing costings, delivering transformation projects and developing dashboards or KPIs, you will combine analytical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of workforce planning tools, financial metrics, and relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
