An exciting opportunity has arisen within our People Services section for a People Administrator in the Recruitment & Selection team, based in Headquarters. Our People function is at the heart of an exciting period of transformation, playing a vital role in driving the growth and success of the service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us during a pivotal time, as we deliver a range of ambitious culture initiatives aligned to our vision and values.
In this role, you will support the People Officer (Recruitment & Selection) in delivering a high-quality, efficient and customer-focused recruitment service to colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
About you
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Have a good understanding of people processes, particularly within recruitment and selection
- Bring proven experience of working with administrative procedures and systems to deliver a high-quality, transactional HR service
- Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, working collaboratively as part of a small team
- Demonstrate flexibility, organisation and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and team objectives.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of recruitment and selection administration activities across internal and external processes e.g. undertaking right to work checks for all new employees, ensuring compliance with SYFR policy and legislation
- Liaising with candidates, hiring managers and people function colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient recruitment processes
- Responding to recruitment-related queries, providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
- Completing administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, in line with deadlines, KPIs and People policies.
