Contract: Permanent
Salary: Grade 3 (£25,949 – £25,989) pro‑rate. To be increased subject to national pay award negotiations for 2026.
Hours: Full time – 37 hours per week. Flexi Time Scheme – accrue up to 13 extra days off a year (pro‑rate) on top of your annual leave.

Overview: Help us make South Yorkshire safer & stronger and keep our prevention work running efficiently behind the scenes. We’re recruiting three Prevention Administrators to join our Community Safety Prevention Admin Team, based at Lifewise, in Hellaby, Rotherham (agile working available).
Responsibilities: In this important administrative role, you’ll be at the heart of our prevention activity—supporting colleagues and partners so projects run smoothly and information is accurate, timely, and compliant. The key duties will include:
- Providing efficient day‑to‑day administrative support to help deliver prevention activities and events.
- Maintaining accurate records and data, handling information appropriately and in line with GDPR.
- Acting as a friendly, professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting team coordination by prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and keeping everyone informed.
- Helping embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) into the way we work and communicate.
Qualifications:
- Experience providing administrative support in a customer‑focused environment.
- Confidence in managing conflicting priorities and working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong record‑keeping skills.
- Understanding of data processing and handling requirements, including GDPR compliance.
- Minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths (or the ability to demonstrate equivalent literacy and numeracy skills relevant to administrative tasks).
