An opportunity has arisen to join Surrey Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) as an operational Instructor in the Learning and Development department at Wray Park Training Centre, Reigate, Surrey, leading on Firefighter Apprenticeships.
You will become a skilled and knowledgeable Instructor, responsible for the research, development, and delivery of all learning materials for your subject area, including maintaining the standards of other instructors.
The role will be paid at WC(B) rate if already a competent WC or have successfully achieved an Instructor, Assessing and Teaching Qualification. Prior to this, the role will be paid at WC Development rate. This role attracts an additional 10% enhancement due to the flexible nature of the role.
You will be expected to maintain competence in operational duties associated with your substantive role by riding across any of SFRS's Fire Stations at least once per month.
