The MTA capability of National Resilience (NR) are seeking a Capability Officer to join on a secondment for up to 12 months. The successful individual will be responsible for the delivery of the agreement between the National Resilience Lead Authority and Home Office to assure, maintain and co‑ordinate national assets for MTA specialist response; to provide operational cover for National Resilience as directed and in accordance with the Lead Authority rota system; and to operate in support of the National Co‑ordination Advisory Framework (NCAF).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the successful delivery of objectives agreed between Home Office and the Lead Authority.
  • Support any National Resilience (NR) response to operational incidents as required in accordance with NCAF.
  • Attend operational incidents in support of NCAF as directed and in accordance with the National Resilience duty rota.

Salary: Station Manager B plus 20% Flexi Duty allowance.

Hours: 42 hours per week.

Location: An agreed base of work. Requirement for national travel.

Contract: Full time, fixed term secondment for up to 12 months.
